This CD features Patrick Hazell's live one-man-band "roadhouse" music--the music he typically plays in dance-halls, partys, and nightclubs in the midwest. He uses two different equipment set-ups in these recordings. Half of the songs are played using his electric equipment which includes a Yamaha Electric Grand piano, Korg CX-3 organ, Casio keyboard, bass drum, harmonica, and the homemade ankle shaker he calls the "rattlesnake". The other half of the songs feature Hazell playing an acoustic equipment set-up comprised of a 1916 vintage grand piano, Hohner Marine Band harmonica, and the "Rattlesnake" percussion shaker strapped around his ankle.
